Prohibited & Restricted Items

We are capable of shipping nearly all types of products, such as apparel, beauty products, toys, smartphones, laptops, and much more.

However, certain items are restricted by U.S. government regulations or are prohibited from being imported into your country.

Prohibited Items

If an item is banned in your country or cannot be exported from the United States, we will be unable to ship it to you. Should you have any doubts about whether an item is prohibited, please contact us before making your order. In cases where we receive an item that cannot be shipped, UNDbox may not be able to send it to any address, including returning it to the sender. 

Before you shop, we encourage you to review our list of prohibited items:

• Prescription medications, including dental and veterinary drugs.

• Medical devices not approved by the FDA.
• Prohormones, human growth hormones, stem cell treatments, steroids, or synthetic alternatives.

• Fuels such as gasoline or diesel.

• Radioactive materials or products.
• Self-balancing scooters (hoverboards).
• Oxidizing agents.
• Fire extinguishers.
• Firearms, including guns and accessories, replicas included.
• BB, pellet, airsoft, and paintball guns, along with their components.
• Ammunition, magazines, and bayonets.
• Stun guns and tasers.
• Tear gas, mace, and pepper spray.
• Gas masks and their filters.
• Law enforcement striking weapons, such as saps, batons, and clubs.
• Handcuffs made of any material, including plastic zip ties and straitjackets.
• Body armor, helmets, or personal protective equipment with Kevlar or ballistic ratings.

• Government, police, or military uniforms, IDs, and badges (real or replicas).

• Live or deceased animals or insects.
• Human remains.
• Coral.
• Brazilian rosewood.
• Skins or leather from snakes, alligators, crocodiles, stingrays, and other reptiles or amphibians.
• Fur or leather from most animals, particularly wolves, bears, elephants, rhinos, and certain deer and foxes.
• Sturgeon or Beluga caviar.
• Agricultural products, including specific seeds, live or dead plants, unfinished or untreated wood, and soil.
• Items containing animal products protected under the Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, or that require a permit under CITES.
• Any unidentified materials, substances, or chemicals.
• Tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vaping items.

Restricted Items

Some restricted products can be shipped, but only after our compliance team reviews them to ensure they comply with both U.S. laws and those of your country. This review process typically takes less than 24 hours; however, it may take one to three business days before your package is ready for shipment. If you have inquiries regarding the shipment of a restricted item, please consult us prior to sending it to your UNDbox suite.

Dangerous goods or hazardous materials are items that require special handling, additional packaging, and labeling for international transport.

These products may or may not be permitted for shipment to your country. The ability to ship dangerous goods is dependent on the specific country and may also vary based on the courier you select. Please note that USPS or UPS cannot transport dangerous goods. Even if your country permits the importation of a specific item, the carrier may not have the necessary licenses to manage and transport dangerous goods. Items classified as dangerous goods include large-sized goods, flammable products or those under pressure (e.g., hairspray, spray paint, lighters, nail polish, and perfume).
